About the team
Pricing is one of the core teams of Flipkart. The pricing computation platform is a near real-time streaming computation platform that enables pricing computation of listings at upwards of 12k QPS. It also exposes a set of serving APIs which is scaled to serving prices at upwards of whooping 6 lakhs QPS. Pricing today maintains prices of more than 500 million listings and enables the price changes of these products without any delay during events and BAU.
Tech stacks used
Apache Storm, YAK (Hbase), Aerospike, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDb, Rigel (TiDb), MySQL, Azkaban, Fstream (Spark).
Role requirement
The role requirement is a backend developer who can work on distributed systems, and build robust NRT pipelines and a computational platform that understands different variables like Inventory, Demand, Cost, Competition, Goals, etc. to power automated pricing.
